I come from a crafty family, so it's no surprise that most of my hobbies through the years have involved some sort of crafting.  I was a big scrapbooker when my kids were small, so paper crafts have been my thing for over 20 years.  Thinking back to my own childhood, I remember receiving birthday cards from a great-aunt every year.  She lived hundreds of miles away, and I didn't really know her well, but those cards made me feel so special.  Someone was thinking of me, and took the time to show it!   That's what I love the most about Stampin' Up --  I can participate in a hobby I enjoy while creating something I can share with someone else to show that I care, and hopefully send them a smile.

Being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, I am pleased to be able to share this hobby with others. Not only do I get to be creative every day, I also get to be a creative coach, offering fresh project ideas and encouragement to my customers and friends.

For me, helping someone create that perfect project for a special occasion takes me back to the feeling of finding that birthday card in the mailbox.  After all, creating cards, scrapbook pages, and gift items is about more than just stamps and ink—it’s about sharing a part of yourself with the people you care about.
